What are plug-ins?
Plug-ins (otherwise known as players) are small applications
or "helpers" which give your browser additional functionality. Plug-in applications may be already installed in your browser. You can find a listing of these clicking on the Netscape Edit Menu, choosing Preferences clicking on Navigator, then Applications. Some applications come installed with your browser. Either way most are provided free from their vendors.
