Is there anyone who has never had the name misprounced? With the 100's of languages around the world, each with there own unique names the problem of saying a peoples name correctly in compounded. This is especially in the USA with the diversity of cultural heritage and all the colorful and beautiful names we hear as a result (that's if you can proununce them right!!) My aim is to provide you with some tools to help you do just that..

This application will help you learn how to pronounce the sounds of Names. On the page for each name, you can click to hear them pronounced by a native speaker. You must, of course, have a sound card and speakers or headphones connected to your computer, in order to hear them.

When you click on any name the first time, the sound file for that word is sent to your computer. This may take a few seconds. Also you may have to install a plug-in if it is not already on your computer. Afterwards if you click on that word again, you will hear the pronunciation immediately.
